Department Profile

The Morrisvale Volunteer Fire Department is an all volunteer organization with stations in Morrisvale and Woodville, West Virginia. We provide fire protection and rescue services to the communities of Alkol, Julian, Morrisvale, and Woodville. The department currently has an ISO rating of 6/6 for any structures within six miles of the station. Since most of our first due area is not covered by pre-piped hydrants, a tanker shuttle system was used to obtain this rating. We are members of the Boone County Fire Fighters Association, the Lincoln County Fire Fighters Association and the West Virginia State Firemen’s Association.
